Audiology Hearing & Balance Services was recommended to me by friends.
Trying to hear what my husband and son were saying to me was becoming more and more difficult. I finally decided the time had come to have my hearing tested. I’m so glad I did!
Jorge Villalvazo at Audiology has always helped me. He’s well trained, professional, and very caring. His primary objective is to make sure YOU hear as well and possible.
My new hearing aids are the latest technology and tuned to my hearing loss. They are lightweight and I can’t tell that I’m wearing them — except that I can hear. These new aids have changed my life for the better. I can hear sounds from another room, the singing of the birds outside, words sung at concerts, and, best of all, I can hear and understand my family & friends.
Jorge at Audiology is always there for you. He goes out of his way to be helpful and to make your hearing the best that it can be.
Even though I knew I needed help with my hearing, it wasn’t until seven years ago, when I met The Hearing Doctor, Dr. Michael Webb, that I decided when I was ready for hearing aids I’d go to him, as he was a very quiet, caring person. Without hesitation I knew I wanted the same kind of hearing aids that the doctor had, and that was a good decision as they are wonderful.
They are very easy to use. If you need more volume, the push of a tiny button makes it happen, and they let you know when to change the battery. I can hear the TV better — I was missing out on so many words, and turning up the volume wasn’t helping that much. Hearing in general is so much better: the people, the music, the birds, and the noises of everyday life. I know technology is always changing, and so even now they are so much better than the ones I’ve had for six years; I had a chance to try out new ones, and they are phenomenal.
Even though the Audiology Hearing and Balance Services office now has two new doctors, the care, concern, and quality of professional service remains the same. The best part is I still get to see Jorge V, the hearing aid dispenser, one of the nicest young men I have ever met. I would recommend that if you are in the need of hearing aids to give them a try.
Every time I visit Dr. Moore’s practice, which is frequently, I am always very impressed by the condition of the office, exam room & restrooms. All are neat, orderly, and the cleanliness is unsurpassed. It’s appreciated!! Thanks so much!
Both my wife and I denied for many years that we were having difficulties with our hearing. We both believed that it was the “other one” with the problem. We would jokingly tell our friends that someday it would either be hearing aids or a divorce because of our frequent misunderstanding of each other’s words. Finally, we agreed that we each had a problem and decided to do something about it. At the recommendation of our physician, we made an appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Moore at Audiology, Inc. What a positive experience it was to work with him. From that first visit until today, he has shown understanding and concern with our need, and he has provided clear explanations throughout the process of addressing our individual hearing challenges. He has made a dramatic change in our lives – we now enjoy all the sounds (and words) we were missing for so long. Thanks Jeff for your caring, professional and effective treatment.
I went to bed for a good night’s sleep and the next morning I couldn’t get out of bed. I had vertigo so bad it threw me off balance. I went to my medical doctors and they couldn’t figure out how to help me. The vertigo continued for 6 months – resulting in me needing to sleep upright! One of my doctors recommended I see Dr. Jeff Moore at Audiology, Inc. Dr. Moore thoroughly examined me and treated my condition within 3 appointments, I now sleep much more comfortably and peacefully. Thank you Dr. Moore!
I have been hearing impaired for over 20 years. Over that period of time I have purchased and used numerous hearing aids, all of which were either unreliable, painful to wear, or caused ear infections. None of them helped me hear better! In 2008, I decided to try one more time. I went to see Dr. Jeff Moore at Audiology, Inc., and for the first time in 20 years I now have hearing aids that are comfortable and that actually help me to hear better. Amazing! Dr. Moore and his staff have been tremendously helpful by answering my questions, making needed adjustments, and doing anything necessary to ensure my satisfaction. And they do so in a very timely manner. I have already recommended Dr. Moore to friends and they have told me how grateful they are that he was able to help them. I am recommending Dr. Moore and Audiology, Inc. to you as well.
I struggled for over two years with my hearing devices that were fitted for the inner ear canal and I finally got tired of being told I wasn’t a candidate for over the ear molds. Everything sounded as though I was in a tunnel and nothing sounded as I remembered when my hearing was normal. I went to Dr. Coombe, an ear doctor in Show Low and he recommended I see Dr. Jeff Moore for a hearing test. It was a great experience and now I’m fitted with technology that works! I have almost normal hearing and they are so comfortable to wear, not to mention the lack of wind noise that used to drive me crazy. I’m an outdoor enthusiast and I’m happy to say that I can enjoy my activities again. Dr. Moore is so nice to deal with.
I have suffered from hearing loss for as long as I can remember. It runs in my family and is a way of life for us. I am 37 years old and from the time I was in elementary school, I have had to go through annual hearing evaluations through the school district audiology department. By the time I was a junior in high school, my hearing was so bad that I was offered hearing aids, which I declined. I was very involved in music my whole life from playing the piano to choir, band and full orchestra. Even my choir director was a bit surprised at my hearing loss. So I guess I was able to disguise it to a degree. It wasn’t until I was first married, working my first real job as a medical assistant, that I realized how bad my hearing loss was and how much I relied on reading lips to hear and understand what people were saying to me. But still, I was not going to rely on hearing aids!
Over 15 years later, I met Dr. Jeff Moore and his wife, Nicole, and I was talked into another hearing evaluation, which was also the first time I had received one since high school. I went in and everything was so familiar in routine until he entered my data into his computer. At this point, using classical music, he played back to me what the normal person hears and then played back what I hear. Almost half the sounds were gone! It was an eye opener for me and a very emotional experience as well. I broke down in tears realizing what I was missing all these years.
I have had hearing aids since then and I have to say it has made a huge difference. The first two weeks were the hardest getting through the ‘WOW’ effect. My husband was humored, but I was not. After wearing them continuously for that period of time, I was watching a movie on the TV at home and I took out the hearing aids in the middle of a song. I had the same sound transition experience happen to me as that first day in Dr. Moore’s office. I realized again how much I was missing in my hearing and that it was very real. It has been two years and I am so grateful I was able to swallow my pride and awaken that part of my senses. I am very pleased with the quality of service I received from a doctor who really cares. I encourage everyone to at least have an evaluation to see for themselves where they are in their hearing and how they can be helped. Don’t miss out on another beautiful song or conversation.”
